Besides the production of recyclable PET packaging for which it is more widely known, Carton Pack has activated a process of greater attention and commitment to the environment. A good part of the production facilities are powered by a photovoltaic system that produces a peak power of 726kWh, with a consequent average yield of about 1,000,000 kWh (source PVGis) per year thereby reducing emissions of CO2 of about 530T/year. And this is just the first step: in fact, the rest of the plant will soon be completely powered by renewable energy sources, reducing inputs of CO2 at about 5300T/year. Sustainability means for Carton Pack, the use of smart technologies, safeguarding the land and caring for the Earth's natural heritage and architecture that hosts it.
